Editorial Review: Amazon.com: An expanded and more polished version of Lord of the Dance, Feet of Flames was recorded at an outdoor performance in London's Hyde Park. While much of the material is familiar to Flatley fans, the production is superior in every way. It's better photographed and the editing is less frenetic. The individual segments are sharper, more self-assured, as is Flatley, who also produced and directed this version. (He also demonstrates his talents as a flutist--maybe he should call himself Lord of the Renaissance.) The outdoor setting also makes the show feel less like a Vegas act, though the proceedings have about as much relation to their Celtic folk roots as the Broadway musical Cats has to the T.S. Eliot children's poems on which it was based. --Richard Natale Average Rating:
![]() Rating: - Feet of FlamesHad I known it was "Lord of The Dance" all over again I wouldn't have purchased the video. Oh well, live and learn. Rating: - Lord of the Dance SupersizedMichael Flatley knows how to put on a show. He took the best of Lord of the Dance and made it bigger and better. More dancers, more lights and more special effects makes this a spectacular show to watch. In addition to the best Lord of the Dance routines he adds a flute solo, Whispering Wind, with a lovely, haunting melody and His Feet of Flames solo is breathtaking. If you want something to lift up your spirits this will do it. My husband and I watch it all the time. It's one show you never get ... Rating: - Feet of FlamesFeet of Flames is a thoroughly enjoyable production by Michael Flatley. While there is no doubt the production showcases Michael Flatley, the entire troupe performs with enthusiam and tremendous talent. For those who enjoy the "Riverdance" genre, this is a "MUST SEE". Rating: - MehBought this for my dad for Christmas since he loved Riverdance, Lord of the Dance. I was disappointed, it was very much like Lord of the Dance and the spirit of the Irish dance that was there for Riverdance was not there for me. Very showy. Michael Flatley had to have it be the biggest outdoor event EVER and in Hyde Park no less. So for me the focus seemed to be on how outrageously huge it could be with the set and the number of dancers. Most of the numbers we had seen before, some new ones added including ...
