Blending action, humor, and a few (thankfully noncloying) songs, this daydream of an adventure from the author of The Jungle Book details the efforts of a frisky mongoose sworn to defend his adopted family from a garden full of cobras.  Rating: - Great family shared times, relivedThis was a great collection of sorted movies. These are the classics that will endure the passing of time and only Gets better. Absolute family favorites - if not already - both your home and mine. Rating:  - Great Item, Questionable Shipping5 stars for the product, -1 star for delivery company. The DVD actually plays fine from what I can tell, but given that it had popped out of the holder inside of the sealed case implies it had to have been jostled pretty hard, and because of that, it picked up several scratches. I'm not even sure what shipping agency was used because it wasn't the US postal service and there were no discerning markings on the delivery label. The animation for the Kipling adaptations is gorgeous! Rating: - A must have for children of all agesHaving grown up watching all these (6 shows) first run I was thrilled to purchase this. I bought one copy for myself, my father, and my friend. His 7 year old Daughter is absolutely enchanted with the Rikki Tikki Tavi story. She has watched it everyday for a month straight. These stories are based on the actual books and Chuck didn't embellish one bit. Disney made me love "the Jungle Book" but Chuck Jones made me love Kipling. The cricket in times square is no literary slouch either! Rating: - chuck jones collectionHaving been a child of the 70's growing up, it was with great pleasure to have the opportunity to purchase non-Bugs Bunny cartoons done by Chuck Jones. I have always loved Riki Tiki Tavi and Chester the Cricket and it brings back wonderful holiday memories to see these shows available.
