Editorial Review: Product Description: St. Vladimir’s Academy isn’t just any boarding school—it’s a hidden place where vampires are educated in the ways of magic and half-human teens train to protect them. Rose Hathaway is a Dhampir, a bodyguard for her best friend Lissa, a Moroi Vampire Princess. They’ve been on the run, but now they’re being dragged back to St. Vladimir’s—the very place where they’re most in danger. . . . Rose and Lissa become enmeshed in forbidden romance, the Academy’s ruthless social scene, and unspeakable nighttime rituals. But they must be careful lest the Strigoi—the world’s fiercest and most dangerous vampires—make Lissa one of them forever. Average Rating:
![]() Rating: - excellent! This book started out a little slow, but a couple chapters in & I was hooked. The bond between friends Rose & Lissa is very compelling. Overall excellent writing & intriguing story line. Rating: - Really good book!Do not judge this book by it's cover! It's a really good book and it's really different from all the vampire books I have read. The author is amazing at writing this because it's about two girls name Rose and Lissa, who have a bond and well Rose is her gaurdian and can see and feel what lissa is feeling. Rose is suppose to protect Lissa because Lissa is one of the princess in the moroi family. Any how it is a really good book especially about loyalty and friendship. You can relate to this book.. ... Rating: - Very EntertainingTook me a few chapters to get the characters, and what they were, straightened out but then it took off. Very interesting storyline. Can't wait to read the next book "Frostbite". Rating: - Story adds depth as it goes alongRose and Lissa are like most teenage girls. They like boys, like to shop at the mall, and feel misunderstood. The only difference is that they are vampires. Lissa is a Moroi princess, a member of the vampire royalty, while Rose is a dhampir guardian who has sworn to protect Lissa even to death. Two years ago, they ran away from St. Vladimir's Academy, a private school for the Moroi and Dhampir races, for reasons that only Rose fully knows. Now, the school's guardians have caught ...
