Complimenting the fantastic artwork with a compelling story has brought many of us former collectors back. It provides a summary of the darkness and gives you enough information for you to start reading the ongoing series vol. 3 (incase you didn't know, vol.3 of the darkness just started). Read More Rating: - Not so great a start if you're new to the seriesIt covers the very beginning of the series and the story arc that the game was based off of. The only thing I didn't like was that it goes from issue 6 to 40 in volume 1 and skips all the stuff in-between. If you are new to the series, it's better to buy a different product if you don't want to jump ahead in the story. The two arcs collected here are known as "Coming of Age" and "Ressurrection" respectively.
