Product Description:
Beloved Doc MacKay has left Tucker Mills to retire to warmer climes, but he gladly leaves the town’s health in the capable hands of Dannan MacKay, his nephew. The townsfolk welcome Dannan, but the widowed physician desperately misses his young daughter, who is staying with an aunt while he settles into his new life. When Dannan and his daughter are finally reunited, life feels right again, but only for awhile. Dannan cannot ignore the deep heartache of loneliness, and for the first time since his wife’s death, he wonders if it is time to love again. But does he have enough faith to believe in a second chance? True to Lori Wick’s storytelling, this final book in the series is filled with inspiration, warm characters, and a journey of hope.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Yuck......
This book made me give up buying Lori Wick books. The whole series was poorly done, but this was the worst of all. Boring, predictable garbage. I don't read romance for realistic stories, but this was just beyond unrealistic. It was just terrible.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - what's up?
What's up with Lori Wick? This series was one of the worst series I have ever read in my life. With the stilted dialogue, the multiple sermons, and the almost nonexistant plot, the only reason I forced myself to read this entire series was out of loyalty to Lori Wick. I am so disappointed that one of my favorite authors seems to be writing such amateur novels lately. These characters are almost sickeningly sweet and absolutely unrealistic.I swear they never sin! And, would it hurt to have some kind ... Read More

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Too preachy.
I was really irritated by this book. There is way too much preaching going on. Her almost perfect characters do little more than worry and refuse to say thank you. Some of them are only "tempted" to worry. What verse in the Bible says that worry is a sin anyway? Yet, on the flip side, the serious sin of coveting another man's wife is no big deal because the husband is dying anyway and he wants to pair them up. We're supposed to be encouraged because high and mighty Dannon is fighting it. Did ... Read More

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Good Book
This was a good book. But I isn't as good as most of her other books I've read.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Leave a Candle Burning
I know this the last book of the Tucker Mills Trilogy. I have read the whole series, and enjoyed it a great deal.
I would recommend this trilogy to all.
