![]() Rating: - warms your heartI first came across this title when Floyd Cooper was visiting my school. I instantly feel in love with the story because I work with special needs children. The illustrations are beautiful and the moral is something everyone should live by. Rating: - Great book for Down Syndrome AwarenessWonderful book for siblings of a Down Syndrome child as well as peers, friends, relatives to read...great book for Down Syndrome awareness. Rating: - Special Needs BookThis is a very touching book about a child named Eddie Lee who has Down's Syndrome. I would suggest this book to elementary and middle school students wanting to learn more about students with special needs. I used this book for a unit of "Special Needs" and it really moved some of my students emotionally. It stirred up great conversations in the classroom. I highly recommend this book. The illustrations are great! But she sees on her own that Eddie is a nice boy whom she can be friends with. It's ... Read More Browse for similar items by category:
