I read it as a treat any time I'm needing to regroup and never miss re-reading a word. I think I've read this duology a dozen times at least and I'm positive that I'll read them 5 times that with joy. As others have stated, these books have it all. Just say that it is pure fantasy. I found it to be a gripping story with good character development and running the gamut from serious to humorous. How good it is? well I've read it at least 4 times.
