These are the clips that you need to unclip to open the airbox. This is the clean side of the stock air cleaner. It looks pretty good. This is the dirty side of the same air filter. Not so bad really. This is the stock air box with leaves and whatever else are in it. Better there than in the engine

These are the indentations. They go into the air box on the far side from the metal clips. This is one flexible filter.
It was kind of floppy which is why I took this pic.

The stock filter seemed to be falling apart. I thought it was ripped but I was able to push the rubber seal back on. Look at how much thicker the stock filter is than the K&N This is a side by side. It doesn't show it but the K&N was a little bit wider and sealed better in the air box. This is a warning sticker. If you let other people work on your car and you have a K&N then put this on. I told one mechanic to leave my filter alone on another car and he still blew compressed air through the thing. In case you're wondering, compressed air can damage your K&N filter.
