Here are some pics of my 87 Gutless Cutlass Supreme

It has lotsa rust and needs lotsa work. The doors and trunk
are very bad and I may just replace them.
I have a picture of the rebuilt engine, but it really looks nasty. This thing
sat around for a while before I bought it. It was loosely wrapped in plastic.
Removal of the plastic revealed some dust from the shop. I don't know how long
it sat around, but I have been assured that it will run strong. We'll see. Right
now it is resting on an old tire. It won't rest for long. I'll clean it up after
it's in and then post the picture. These were taken with my new digital camera.
I have some on film, but it has yet to be developed. Unfortunately, the pictures
on film are better since they were taken outside in good light.

| That's 145,330.8 miles. Who knows - it
could be 245,300. |
There is no hope for that carpet or the
headliner, but the seats cleaned up nicely. They used to looked as bad
as the floor. |
Here is a picture of the backseat. The
backseat needed as much work as the front. I still have to clean the
vinyl, but that should be easy. |
The drivers door. The rust is completely
through. One good kick and I'll have a hole in the door the size of my
shoe. |
More rust here. The rust next to the tire
seems to be surface only. I'll see what happens when I go to fix it. |

| Passenger door. The rust is just as bad
here. These doors will be replaced. I think I already found a donor. |
The trunk lid is almost as bad as the
doors. I may try to repair this though. I haven't found a worthy
replacement. |
The front end. I should have a better
picture, but I didn't get the film developed yet. I may not. The drivers
headlight has a stone chip and the windshield is cracked severely. No
biggy. |
This is my seized and destroyed 3.8 L dog
of an engine. May it rest in peace. I can assure you that it did not go
quietly. Bang bang bang...
Is this thing sorry or what? |
Bad view of the side, but what the heck.
This was taken in the garage where she is being fit for a new engine-
(used and rebuilt 350) |
